Meet Daniel

Daniel Ennis is a TD for Dublin Central.

I’m a father of two beautiful kids; my family are the brightest light in my life. I live on the North Strand, the area where I grew up. Generations of my family have called the North Inner City home and my staunch pride for my area stems from them.

I love this area and I owe my sporting, academic and personal development to the schools, sports clubs, youth groups and community organisations from the North Inner City.

This area needs leadership more than ever and I am delighted you put your trust in me to represent our community. Only together can we make our area, our community, the North Inner City, a safer, cleaner, more inclusive place where our families can flourish. Our Community, United.

I believe sports and culture should be enjoyed by everyone. No matter what your background is, everyone deserves to live and love their best sporting lives. We must strive to become more inclusive and accessible communities for all with better facilities, disability infrastructure and civil architecture suited to people of all ages and abilities.

Daniel’s Priorities

  • Working to ensure the eradication of derelict and vacant properties around the city.
  • Advocating for the construction of over 22,000 social and affordable homes while providing additional resources to end homelessness.
  • Improving and upgrading sporting and community facilities, helping them achieve the status of fully inclusive organisations for people of all abilities.
  • Pushing for a consistent, visible Gardai presence to ensure our streets are safer.
  • Tackling poverty and the social issues that have blighted our communities for generations.
